Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate cherry pickers and forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner within the warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate cherry pickers and forklifts to transport merchandise and materials throughout the warehouse or distribution center.
• Load and unload trucks using cherry pickers and forklifts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Pick and stage orders for shipment according to company standards and procedures.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage racks, shelves, and aisles.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management, order picking, and packing.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating cherry pickers and forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately pick and stage orders.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and maneuver equipment as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
