Icebox studios is looking for a full time Assistant Studio Manager/Studio Manager for our Sugar Land location. Icebox is an upscale athletic and therapeutic spa specializing in innovative cold therapy. We work with clients that are looking for athletic recovery, wellness, natural pain management, and beauty using cold therapy.

We are seeking an Assistant Studio Manager that is keen on driving sales and service excellence. Assistant Studio Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the Wellness Coordinators and Estheticians. This critical position must have a solid understanding of membership sales and operational excellence. Assistant Manager will promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. This leader must pose a high caliber approach to coaching and staff development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly manage and exceed all Icebox sales and operational budgets
• Lead and coordinate initial and on-going sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)
• Oversee the sales process and front desk systems
• Hire, train, and schedule all studio staff
• Manage, monitor, develop, and evaluate the performance of staff
• Manage disciplinary actions involving all Icebox studio employees
• Adhere to Icebox policies for daily studio operations
• Develop a high energy culture through contests and incentive based motivation
• Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
• Responsible for meeting performance metrics, revenue, inventory, payroll, facility maintenance Create relationships with guests to further personalize their experience
• Educate guests on memberships and products
• Enforce Icebox corporate policies, business practices, systems, and processes
• Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues
• Ensure that studio is clean, maintained, and operationally sound

REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS

• Proven sales leadership REQUIRED
• Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment
• Min 2-3 years of sales experience required
• Min 2-3 years of management experience required
• Previous management experience in health or fitness industry strongly preferred
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual
• Must be courteous and professional in manner and appearance
• Must be a strong team player who is customer service oriented
• Must show sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
• Flexible to work day, evening, and weekend hours as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
