Leadership
- Direct, delegate, supervise, evaluate Operations Department personnel.
- Promote and maintain a safety-first culture and mindset within the cooperative.
- Ensure all safety practices, rules and policies are followed and current best practices are incorporated into our safety manual.
- Ensures that investigations of on-the-job accidents and near misses are conducted in a timely manner.
- Ensure all federal and state regulations are met including OSHA, INDOT, NESC, RUS and NAS. Ensure RESAP (Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program) is achieved.
- Oversee the daily operations and promote efficiencies across the department.
- Creates annual operational budget in coordination with the CEO and department personnel.
- Ensures dispatching services are working correctly to assign crews effectively.
- Supports long-range planning for the Operations Department
- Oversees the operation and maintenance of the system including right-of-way, vehicles, and other equipment.
