Overview:

This is a Junior position, we are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.

Duties:

- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy.

- Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers.

- Process orders through the warehouse management system for shipping or receiving.

- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

- Maintain organized records of all transactions for inventory control purposes.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Skills:

- Some experience on forklift operation is preferred.

- Order fulfillment processes.

- Picking and Packing skills to ensure accurate shipment preparation.

- Basic math skills for inventory counting and reconciliation.

- Basic knowledge of stock management within a warehouse setting.

- Previous experience is preferred.

- Previous knowledge on QuickBooks software is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:
