Job Description

Responsible for supporting company’s existing, new and potential customers via phone, internet and email.

Job Duties:

• Handle incoming calls and emails related to service and sale of industrial electronic control equipment
• Responsible for helping grow business by increasing sales with existing customers and increasing customer base
• Use database, internet and email to:
• Maintain up to date database of customers, contacts and job status
• Issue documents for customers to send in repair work
• Issue repair and sales quotes to customers
• Research availability of various products according to customer demand
• Update various database records as needed
• Market company’s services to customers and prospects
• Develop a good working relationship with customers to achieve a high level of satisfaction via customer service
• Work as a liaison between company’s technical staff and customers

Required Skills

• Strong computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
• Ability to use Microsoft Access a plus
• IT background very desirable
• Graphic arts experience a plus
• Good typing skills
• Good verbal communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good at multi-tasking
• Attention to detail
• Able to work alone
• Good work ethic

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Degree in a technical field, computer science or business is desired
• Experience working with a computer database
• Previous sales history desired
• Phone sales experience a plus
• Previous experience working with industrial electronic controls very desirable
