Warehaus is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate to join our team. The Accounting Associate is responsible for handling project billings, accounting software data entry and reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other general accounting responsibilities for Warehaus. The Accounting Associate will report to the Chief Financial Officer, and also works with Team Directors and Project Managers.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Processing and managing billings and subconsultant invoices
• Utilizing ERP system to support project accounting functions, such as project setup, budget tabs, reporting and closeouts
• Processing weekly AP check runs
• Processing employee expense reimbursements
• Entering ACH withdrawals
• Record keeping of W9s
• Performing statement processing
• Assisting with collection calls/emails
• Recording invoice payments and processing bank deposits
• Assisting with monthly closing procedures and performing electronic filing and scanning
• Approving invoices

Experience required:

• 5 years’ experience in Billing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable in public accounting, corporate or private business
• Proficient in general ledger software, bill pay software, Microsoft Office, & CRM systems
• Strong attention to detail - ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, including the ability to tactfully navigate difficult conversations regarding missed payments or task deadlines
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen ability to prioritize work and meet internal and external deadlines
• Willingness to accept change, recognize areas for process improvement, and provide feedback for continued development of best practices
