Allied Packaging is Hiring a Purchasing Associate Near Phoenix, AZ
- Ensure the accurate and timely procurement of materials.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure product is available
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing and inventory
- Customer Service skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience in the packaging industry is a MUST
- Experience in cost negotiations
- Ability to negotiate contracts
- Ability to compile and analyze data for cost / value comparisons
- Ability to work well with vendors, customers and sales representatives
- Pleasant disposition
