As an audiovisual and video wall Integration Technician, you will work closely and in cooperation with the Control Room Leadership Team to perform the end-to-end installation of assigned projects and assist with on-site coordination as required.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Video Wall Processor Network Configuration Experience
· Manages and performs on-site implementation of assigned AV and/or control room systems within the specified time frames established by the Project Manager.
· Provides technical support to on-site installation team.
· Collaborates and works as a team to support all technicians/labor.
· Manages completion of the Vistacom Quality Control Test punch list and follows the quality assurance program to continuously provide customer satisfaction.
· Ensures project documentation is updated with all pertinent information and submitted to Project Manager at substantial completion.
· Communicates the status of the project to the PM at the end of each day relative to tasks completed and time required to finish.
· Performs all site calibrations, balancing, and configuration adjustments.
· Moderate travel as required.
· Represents the company both internally and externally in a manner that is consistent with Vistacom’s mission statement.
· Treats clients/coworkers/and self with professional respect.
· All other tasks as assigned by the PM and Integration Manager. May be asked to join the On-Call Rotation as determined by Service and PM/Integration Managers.
Qualifications:
· High school education or equivalent.
· Advanced knowledge of audio and video control systems and functionality.
· Experience with the installation, servicing, and calibration of audio and video systems.
· Comprehension of engineered prints and wiring practices.
· Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment.
· Mechanical expertise in construction of video walls, displays and projection cubes with a strong eye for color balancing.
· Video processing familiarity with Windows installation and configuration of OS.
· Networking skills including network switch configuration, IGMP and Multicast.
· General video knowledge of display resolution, DVI/HDMI and Display Port signal types.
· Must possess excellent termination, wiring and soldering skills as applicable.
· Preferential consideration is given to candidates possessing knowledge and experience in the installation and system integration of Barco and VuWall systems.
· Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers; manual dexterity required for reaching and lifting of moderately sized and weighted objects, and operating of required test equipment and tools.
