VW Connect is Hiring a Safety/Training Coordinator Near Phoenix, AZ

Please Note:

Requires Passing a Non-DOT Regulated Instant and Lab Drug Test

NOT a Remote Position - Requires employee to be in office

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To act as the technical expert and resource for the line management team on safety systems application. To manage the safety system to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for all site workers. To provide information, analysis and systems to assist in developing a safe and competent workforce.

Ensure that all activities at the site operate within safety, security and environmental policies and regulations, to protect the assets and employees of the company and our customers.

SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY EXPECTATIONS

§ Comply with legal obligations, VW Connect Safety policies and procedures. Practice and promote Courageous and Visible Felt Leadership.

§ Spend 90% of time developing and implementing training with supervisors and employees. 10% Developing and refining Safety skills in the field.

§ Cooperate with supervisors, coordinators and managers on management of Safety issues.

§ Intervene, as necessary, to ensure the health and safety of all employees in the workplace, to protect the environment, and to protect VW Connect assets.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY/ RESULTS & ASSOCIATED DUTIES

Key Area:

· Provide clear objectives and expectations to ensure compliance to all governing regulations (i.e. OSHA).

· Ensure the compliance training plan is in place and standard operating procedures are developed and followed to achieve planned production, while meeting planned costs.

· Identify strengths and opportunities for training and development and ensure annual training plans are developed.

· Assist in developing and promoting safety leadership throughout the organization to ensure coaching, mentoring, and fostering of courageous leadership.

OSHA standards compliance and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies

Working Experience – Nature & Length

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
