Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk with forklift experience to join our team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse operations. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining inventory control and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Duties:

- Receive incoming shipments, inspecting them for damages or discrepancies

- Unload and load trucks using forklifts or other equipment

- Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against purchase orders or invoices

- Prepare shipping documents, including labels, packing slips, and bills of lading

- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse

- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements

- Coordinate with carriers and schedule shipments for timely delivery

- Communicate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

- Minimum of the following:

- 2yrs of experience with a class IV (sit-down lift).

- 1yr of experience with loading outbound deliveries.

- 1yr of experience with unloading in-bound deliveries.

- Experience in counting/verifying quantity of items received. P

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred

- Familiarity with package handling procedures and equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts

- Knowledge of shipping/receiving software systems is a plus

- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
