Job Title: Install Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Install Coordinator is responsible for managing and scheduling the installation of smart home systems. This position serves as the primary liaison between clients, technicians, and any other parties involved. The coordinator ensures that all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Schedule and oversee installations from start to finish. Ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available for each job. Coordinate with technicians and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
Client Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the installation process. Communicate updates, manage expectations, and handle any issues that arise.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all installations, including client information, project timelines, and technical specifications. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete and compliant with industry standards.
Quality Control: Monitor the quality of installations and work performed by technicians. Ensure all installations meet company standards and client expectations.
Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and order supplies and materials as needed. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, and design teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met. Facilitate communication across departments to address any project-related challenges.
Training and Support: Assist in training new technicians on company procedures and customer service standards. Provide ongoing support and guidance to installation teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of smart home technologies and installation processes.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize work under pressure.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during installations.
Customer Service: High level of professionalism and commitment to client satisfaction.
Education and Experience: A degree or diploma in a related field is preferred. Experience in project management or coordination in the smart home industry is highly desirable.
Work Environment
In addition to in-office work this role will require visits to installation sites to oversee project execution and meet with clients or team members.
