Warehouse – Cooler (Produce) Department Manager

Canton Food Company, a Cash and Carry Food Distributor, a highly established business that has been serving Los Angeles for over 54years has an opening for a Produce Department Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

· Able to manage a diverse group of Employees to assure Policy, Procedures and Safety are being followed at all times to achieve highest standards

· Assure fresh quality produce on shelves at all times

· Knowledgeable with Produce Inventory and FIFO

· Encourage good customer service and employee relation skills

· Understand utilization with UPC barcode

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times

Requirements:

· Managing Perishable or Produce Department experiences is a Plus

· Detailed Orientated

· Ability to manage priorities and workflow

· Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

· Schedule writing

· Organized and able to handle a fast pace environment

· Effective written and oral communication skills

· Bilingual Spanish highly desired but not mandatory

· Forklift and Pallet Jack experience not required, but definitely A Plus

· Able to Work Weekend if needed

Wages:

· Negotiable base upon experience
