Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Associate to join our esteemed team at the Cary Leeds Center located in The Bronx. As the face of our organization, this pivotal role ensures exceptional customer service for all guests, both in-person and virtually, while maintaining seamless daily operations within the center. The ideal candidate will embody a commitment to excellence in hospitality, consistently delivering courteous, efficient, and friendly service. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Operations, this position plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience for our patrons.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide unparalleled customer service, greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, and promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in processing payments, accurately managing financial transactions, and maintaining oversight of the daily court sheet for reconciliation purposes.
  • Uphold and enforce all club policies and procedures with a comprehensive understanding of operational protocols.
  • Utilize the CLC (Cary Leeds Center) Automation system proficiently to manage scheduling for club activities, maintain up-to-date contact information, manage rosters, and coordinate programming activities.
  • Execute front office functions adeptly, including managing telephone communications, scheduling appointments, facilitating program registrations, and other related administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure precise inventory management within the pro-shop, maintaining stock levels and facilitating seamless transactions for members and guests.
  • Flexibly handle additional responsibilities and ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed by management, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of center operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred, showcasing a commitment to education and professional development.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts during weekdays and weekends to accommodate the operational needs of the center.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with guests and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
