East Coast Cannabis is Hiring a Trimmer Near Eliot, ME
East Coast Cannabis is seeking motivated and hard-working Trimmers to join our ECC Eliot team. This is an entry level position with room for growth for diligent and dedicated employees. This is a demanding yet rewarding position, no experience is required, and all training will be provided although any production experience is a plus.
Our Eliot Trim Crew will be working with high end flower from buck down to finished product. We pride ourselves on being the first line of quality control in the manufacturing of boutique grade flower for the adult market.
We offer ergonomical seating as this position requires long periods of sitting or standing. Trimming also involves repetitive motion, mainly using your hands, and will need to be maintained throughout the day.
Trimming is not for everyone, but if it is something you think yo might be good our crew is happy to teach you and accept you as part of the team!
This is an entry level position with room for growth, no experience is needed and training will be provided. Some of the best employees at ECC from cultivators to managers started as trimmers.
In our Eliot facility, we cultivate top quality cannabis. Responsibilities as a Trimmer include but are not limited to the following-
• Hand trim flower from plants in a quick and efficient manner, while ensuring a quality product
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Sit for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented trimming, as well as post trim upkeep
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. multiple times daily if necessary.
• Sorting and manicuring boutique quality flower.
• Keeping a clean workstation free of contamination and assisting in the clean-up of said workstations at the end of their shifts.
• Knowing and following OCP rules and standards as directed by your manager.
• Meet consistent production rates
• Following strict SOP’s
• Follow regulations and company guidelines for all compliance, workflows and safety matters.
• Packaging, labeling and proper storage of biomass.
• Following trim room policy.
• Properly trimming (manicuring) a minimum of 60 grams of flower per hour on most strains.
• Buck down and the preparation of flower after a harvest.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to obtain an Induvial Identification Card provide by The Office of Cannabis Policy. Please see link below-

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Minimum 40 hours a week.
