Phlebotomist - Pathology Brecksville

Location: BRECKSVILLE HEALTH CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: First shift w/ start times btwn 7a and 3p as scheduled. Wknd/holi as sched; will rotate to addit MHS locns for coverage purposes as needed

Obtains acceptable blood samples from patients by venipuncture or capillary draw while following established departmental guidelines for sample quality. Maintains the safety and the comfort of patients at all times. Adheres to hospital guidelines, safety/regulatory requirements, and quality control standards. Performs patient registration, visit processing, and other clerical duties, as necessary. Performs specimen processing tasks as required, including but not limited to accessioning, centrifugation, bar coding, and packaging for transport.
