Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Recruiting and Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various functions, associated with recruitment for all positions within 3 companies, including Messick and Gray Inc. (Agricultural and Industrial Construction), Power Trans Inc. (Sales of power transmission components), and Bridgeville Machining Inc. (CNC Machining), purchasing of materials and supplies, and other administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

- Assist President, Controller, and Accounting Department with various functions, including, but not limited, to the following:

Recruitment for new employees, including placing ads using various media, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and checking references.

Purchase Orders and Invoices

Making flight arrangements and hotel reservations for travel crew members.

Maintaining fleet vehicle registrations, EZ Pass accounts, researching vehicle values for sales purposes, obtaining special vehicle permits for travel, and other.

Setting up equipment rentals as needed for installation projects.

Handling all issues with respect to Internet, Cell Phone, and Copier service and billing.

Research new vendors, obtain credit approvals, tax exemptions, and Certificates of Insurance.

Oversee training programs with respect to ISN and OSHA training.

Maintain Inventory records.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in recruitment, interviewing, and identifying talent

- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or related roles
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
