Description
UPP Global is a leader in parking management services, located in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations. Our Hospitality Team is looking for Full and Part-Time Overnight Hotel Valet Attendants in Portland, Maine .

• 8 to 10 hour shifts starting at 10pm and 11pm
• $20/ hour base pay
• Must have weekend availability
• Paid Time Off earned at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

JOB SUMMARY, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
At UPP, Valet Parking Attendants play a vital role in the success of the company. They are the first person to greet and welcome our clients and customers, and the last person they'll interact with upon departure. A pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance!
Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Provide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
• Be responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner
• Assist guests with bell service, directions, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and other inquiries as needed
• Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departure
• Transport guests via the hotel shuttle service
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
• Must provide excellent customer service
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shift
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds
• Must possess a current drivers' license and maintain a clean driving record
• Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
• Must maintained and groomed, professional appearance
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
