ABC Behavior is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Warrenton, VA

ABC Behavior utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in a variety of settings, including in-home, clinic, social groups, and community outings. ABC Behavior assists individuals with developmental disabilities from ages 1 to 21 years old. Our practice is growing and developing with a team of collaborative BCBAs and RBTs. We have a large clinic space with a desire to expand services in our area and build the next generation of BCBAs.

ABC Behavior is a franchisee of Hi-5 ABA.

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Director, preferably with a BCBA-D certification, to join our team in Warrenton, VA. Job Title: Clinical Director

Location: Fairfax, VA

Job Overview:

The Clinical Director is responsible for leading the clinical services at our Fairfax facilities. This role demands a high level of expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to oversee clinical operations, enhance service delivery quality, and ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. This position would work closely with both the Chief Operating Officer of ABC Behavior and the Assistant Clinical Director, collaborating to build the future of their practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Clinical Leadership: Provide leadership and expert guidance to a team comprising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs). Facilitate weekly individual consultations to discuss client care, service improvement strategies, and professional development.

- Expertise in Insurance and Authorizations: Manage complex insurance processes, including authorizations for Medicaid, County, and PPOs, ensuring compliance and maximization of client benefits.

- Professional Development and Training: Lead the development and implementation of training programs for staff, maintaining currency with the latest research and practices in ABA. Spearhead preparations for significant industry conferences, such as the Applied Behavior Analytic International conference.

- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive bi-weekly audits of clinical practices and client files to ensure adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

- Mentorship and Career Development: Offer structured mentorship to newly credentialed BCBAs, assisting them in meeting professional requirements and finding their specializations within the field.

- Community and Relationship Building: Enhance the organization's visibility and collaboration opportunities through strong relationships with local schools and social services.

- Organizational Culture and Staff Well-being: Organize staff events aimed at boosting morale and preventing professional burnout, promoting a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required.

- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctorate (BCBA-D) credential with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting.

- Proven track record in clinical consulting, with extensive experience in training and mentorship.

- Exceptional leadership capabilities, able to handle complex clinical and administrative tasks.

- Comprehensive knowledge of ABA therapy insurance processes and legal compliance.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $120,000-135,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and quarterly bonuses related to objective metrics. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
