New Braunfels Vision Center is Hiring an Optician Near New Braunfels, TX

New Braunfels Vision Center opened in 1997 to serve the needs of families in the Comal County region. Patients can have a thorough annul eye exam to update their eye-wear and determine the health of their eyes.

Overview:

New Braunfels Vision Center is looking for a full time optician to work in our optical boutique. We are a fast pace work environment which requires team work, reliability, great work ethic, punctuality, positive attitude, great communication and more.

Roles and Responsibilities (INCLUDE BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO)

  • Provide excellent service to our patients
  • Take initiative
  • Be knowledgeable in parameters of eyewear selection and taking eyewear orders.
  • Educating patients as to their options in lens designs
  • Run an edger
  • Drop off and pick up orders from the optical lab
  • Stay up to date on related education
  • Fill any downtime with menial tasks, such as dust, clean eyewear, sweep floors etc.

Qualifications:

  • ABO Certification preferred but not required

Experience:

  • $16.00 - $18.00 experience preferred

Requirements:

  • Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5:30 pm, Fridays vary.
