Warehouse Operations Manager- Footwear Industry

Position Overview:

• Support 3PL warehouse operations across 3 Ontario, CA warehouse locations as the Company’s on-site liaison
• Provide quality control support for in-bound freight; inspecting inbound containers on occasion to confirm factories are loading containers consistent with the Company’s packing guidelines, inspecting cartons, packaging, and product as requested, etc.
• Perform physical inventory inspections and verifications
• Support returns processing – ensuring warehouse has RA#’s for all products returned to the warehouse, and perform QC review on returns noted due to quality issues
• Research discrepancies with carton labeling vs factory purchases orders and Blue Cherry
• Monitor aging of pick tickets, research and reconcile any variances related to pick tickets that should have been closed or cancelled
• Monitor inbound receivers to confirm warehouse is complying with KPI’s for unloading and putting away products
• Investigate and report on warehouse related customer chargebacks
• Monitor approved Reworks/VAS projects to validate warehouse charges (e.g. time studies)
• Review and verify warehouse invoicing (storage, handling, VAS, supplies, etc) prior to submission to AP for approval
• Evaluate all cost savings opportunities by Brand & location related to all warehouse operations (supplies, services, etc).
• Oversee activity with small parcel carriers (assess volumes, pickup timing, costing, packaging, etc) to assess performance and costing

Must have 3 years' experience managing warehouse operations and 5 years' experience with warehouse related tasks.

Must be proficient in Excel and all Microsoft Office.

ERP experience required. Blue Cherry experience preffered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
