Blue Ridge Animal Clinic is currently looking for an experienced part-time Pet Groomer to work with our established clients who opt to take advantage of our in-house grooming services. In this position you will have the support of experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed. If you do not have prior experience as a pet groomer, please do not apply for this position.

Qualifications:

• Previous pet styling experience required
• A sincere compassion for the work and the clientele you serve
• Excellent client service and communication skills to communicate effectively with pet owners
• Ability to work in a shared environment
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
• Knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
• Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
• Attention to detail
• Position may require heavy lifting

Details:

· 1-2 days per week

· Compensation dependent upon experience
