Project WisHope works with local hospitals, EMS, drug courts and organizations to provide “boots on the ground” support in the event of an opioid related overdose or anyone who is presenting with a substance use disorder.
Job Description
As a Peer Support Specialist, we support the person who has overdosed or is struggling with a substance use disorder, begin their path to recovery. Our goal is to help individuals connect with resources and offer the support they need to begin their recovery journey.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Must be Peer Recovery Coach Certified
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR IN LONG-TERM RECOVERY.
