Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop foreman to join our team. The Shop Forman will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

-Accurately diagnose and bid repairs

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel

- Assign work tasks and ensure timely completion of projects

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality control standards

- Collaborate with owner to develop project schedules and allocate resources

- Provide guidance and training to shop employees on safety procedures and best practices

- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies

- Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment maintenance, and repairs

- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a mechanic

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
