Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our public accounting team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for using accounting softwares to deliver timlely financials. You will also being assiting in payroll processing, quarterly payroll filings, and tax assistance.

Duties:

- Prepare and analyze basic financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

- Assist on developing better client processes

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including debits and credits

- Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

- Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards

- Assist with the implementation of accounting software systems and provide training to staff as needed

- Mentor junior accounting staff members and provide guidance on complex accounting issues

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Desire to eventually grow into a CPA or EA

- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and general accounting principles

- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements

- Proficiency in using accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
