Join the team of engineers at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, where as a Foundry Design Engineer , you will be trusted by our customers to solve their toughest aluminum and copper-based casting challenges. This is a full time opportunity on first shift, with much flexibility. This is a fully on-site position in Manitowoc, WI with a relocation package in place if needed.

Day to day operations have been exciting at the foundry lately. In fact, WAF has been steadily growing, which is why we are looking for a Design Engineer to join the growing team.

As a Foundry Design Engineer, you will be challenged daily to:

• Design molds, patterns, and core boxes for customer parts from customer CAD files and drawings
• Prepare routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, and diagrams
• Design a variety of pressure test, qualifying fixtures, and machining fixtures
• Design, create, and maintain a library of plant layouts, plant machinery, and plant maintenance parts
• Maintain an up-to-date database of current tooling and CAD models
• Send and receive part files to be used in quoting and tool construction
