Full Time Assistant/ Assistant in Training
The applicant MUST have a minimum of 4 years experience working at a golf course and be skilled using golf course equipment such as tee, greens, fairway and rough mowers, zero turns, bunker rakes, verti-cuters, rollers, aerators, etc
Applicant must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with all staff and ensure that potential problems are brought to management's attention. Must possess strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Applicant must have a positive attitude and pay strong attention to detail.
Applicant must be familiar with irrigation repairs and must be willing to learn how to operate irrigation in the absence of the golf course superintendent.
With direction and supervision, applicant must be able to operate a hand sprayer and apply chemicals and fertilizers conscientiously and with precision.
Experienced with bush hogs, tractors, back hoe, skidster, chain saw or other maintenance equipment is also useful but is NOT REQUIRED.
Must be familiar using small tools and equipment such as weed wackers, blowers, edgers, trimmers and small mowers / zero turn. Tasks to include operation of this equipment, brush and debris cleanup, digging and/or planting, trimming and general grounds maintenance.
Applicant must have a solid work ethic, be on time, dependable and a team player. Regular & reliable attendance is required.
Must take pride in their work and constantly be working to improve the golf course.
