The Recreational Therapist is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activity services for the assigned program. This role involves setting treatment goals, providing continuous patient care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy or related discipline
• Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligibility
• Knowledge of behavioral healthcare techniques
• Skills in organizing workloads, applying policies, and coordinating care within a team framework

Additional Certifications:

• CPR certification for healthcare professionals
• Annual professional skills verification
• "Handle with Care" (psychiatric crisis management) certification
