Part time Janitorial position: Immediate availability.

We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of daily cleaning tasks within local businesses. The goal is to keep accounts in a clean and orderly condition and do so in a timely manner.

Multiple building openings. 1 building to be cleaned 2 days/week (days TBD). 1 building to be cleaned 7 days/week. (ALL WORK TO BE DONE AFTER BUSINESS HOURS)

Part time- 10-25 hours/week depending on job site

Possibility for full time hours as work comes available

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, sanitizing restrooms/break rooms, etc)
• Perform all tasks as noted on provided task list
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair to equipment
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff as well as employees of accounts being cleaned
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Take care of any additional items the client might ask for

Skills

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time

Employee(s) will be trained on site and will follow task list to ensure all items are done in a quality and timely manner.

All cleaning materials such as chemicals and equipment will be on site. Staff is responsible for letting management know when they are low on supplies or if there are any issues with equipment so it can be ordered/fixed quickly.

All potential hires will need to pass background check and have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Looking to hire 3-4 people. Job to start no later than July 1st.

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
