Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union is hiring for a MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE at our branch located in Alturas, CA.

The Member Service Representative provides our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper through direct work with members and potential members; listening, thinking and taking action to meet needs and provide solutions. Assist member with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments, as well as provides expertise with respect to Credit Union services such as IRAs, certificates of deposit, electronic funds transfer, home banking, etc. explains services, opens new accounts, responds to problems, and directs members to the appropriate people. Actively cross-sell products and services benefiting our members to achieve or exceed all established sales goals and assist in meeting the Credit Union goals.

Essential Job Functions

* Promote Pacific Crest Federal Credit Unions Mission

* Deepen member relationships with Pacific Crest by maintaining current knowledge of all products and services, including the benefits and how they can benefit the member

* Receives and processes member financial transactions in an accurate and efficient manner

* Achieves or exceeds established sales goals through building of member relationships, referring products and services to meet their needs

* Proactively work with all departments to ensure an exceptional member service experience is delivered with every member interaction

Qualifications

Education and Experience

* Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, higher education is a plus

* 1-2 years of financial services or related experience preferred

* Customer service and/or retail experience is strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Detail oriented and good organizational skills

* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

* Excellent computer skills

* Motivated to learn and grow within the position and credit union

* Problem-solving skills
