Downriver Medical Associates is Hiring a Medical Biller Near Wyandotte, MI
We are looking for a medical biller to join our team! This is a full-time position with benefits in the billing department of our internal medicine practice. The position includes, but is not limited to:
- Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
- Submit billing data to insurance providers
- Work claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
- Perform reviews and audits
- Implement, maintain and report on programs initiated by the practice
- 2 years' experience as a Medical Biller
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Credentialing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
