The Duluth Bethel is seeking a Maintenance/Janitor for our non-profit residential treatment and correctional facility. Must be willing to consent to a background check, and, if chemically dependent, be free from problematic substance abuse for at least one year.

• Daily maintenance of the facility; may perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Be available for after-hour emergencies/on-call rotation
  • May clean snow and debris from sidewalk and mow lawn, using hand tools and power tools.
  • May tend to furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water.

Qualifications:

• Boiler's license license & HVAC knowledge a plus
• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check

Must be physically able to stretch, walk, stoop, reach, use ladders, and carry up to 50 pounds in performance of job duties.
