Joy-Mark, Inc. is Hiring a Maintenance & Engineering Manager Near Cudahy, WI
- Design and fabricate new machine components to optimize or repair PUWO construction of automated mixing line.
- Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production / facility equipment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines by doing both predictive and productive maintenance on production / facility equipment
- Make sure production continues to deliver maximum output at the highest quality
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs during production
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production / facility equipment
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment
- Detect faulty operations and defective materials with European sourced components
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and materials handling equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and work overtime as needed
- Expert level fluency in German – reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to interpret blueprints and designs with metric measurements and German text, with ability to translate to English
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience working with custom GTP Schaefer automated machines and other custom machinery design and construction
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with forklifts and welding, certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience using scissor lifts and cranes, certification preferred
- Technical or trade school experience or applicable work experience specializing in Industrial Engineering
- Practical mind and attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role
- Ability to lift 100lbs
- Must have technical capacity and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Manual dexterity
- Good physical condition, ability to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs
