The Cost Accountant position is responsible for manufacturing cost accounting, completing SAP Controlling (CO) month-end close, providing timely financial analysis of business results, and financial reporting. This position ensures that senior leadership, sales, and operations have a clear understanding of manufaturing costs and company financial results. The Cost Accountant reports to the Head of Accounting & Finance.

Essential Functions

• Manages SAP product costing and associated master data.
• Completes SAP CO month-end close.
• Analyzes manufacturing cost and income statement.
• Prepares and reports key sales financial data including variances to plan.
• Completes monthly reports for multiple departments.
• Participates in annual financial audit.
• Prepares product costs and sales report for annual budget.
• Supports multiple departments with product cost estimation.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
• 5 or more years of manufacturing cost accounting, financial analysis, reporting, and month-end close
• 5 or more years of SAP Controlling (CO) hands-on experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• SAP S/4HANA
• Advanced Excel and Access
