Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education, daycare, or preschool settings, and possess strong skills in behavior management, lesson planning, and classroom management.

Responsibilities:

• creating a safe, healthy, structured, educational environment for 18 three and four year olds,
• creating lesson plans based on the RIELDS,
• completing child portfolios and assessments
• communicating with parents,
• collaborating and working with a teacher assistant,
• completing 24 hours of professional development each year
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment

Qualifications:
- Applicant MUST hold an associate's degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field OR have at least 12 credits in early childhood education or field related to early childhood education from an accredited institution of higher education.
- Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Appropriate RIELDS training certificate of completion required. If RIELDS training not completed, applicant must be willing to complete necessary training.
This is a full time (30-35 hour), year round position with paid holidays and sick time after 90 days of employment. Serious applicants only!
