The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a Student Information System Manager.
JOB GOAL: Shall provide efficient and effective administration, support, and leadership of the Student Information System (SIS) and all student data reporting.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: SIS Manager provides leadership, management, support, training and guidance in the use of district SIS software and all affiliated student and staff applications. The manager evaluates the current usage and implements improvements and/or upgrades as applicable. The manager maintains updates and ensures data is backed up and retained. The manager is also responsible for providing student data for state and federal reporting and for various online resources used throughout the district.
QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Four-year degree in data processing/computer programming/web development/software engineering or equivalent proficiency through experience and related coursework
2. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and databases required.
3. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills required. Must be capable of prolonged computer usage.
4. Must be available to work full time and be dedicated to performing duties according to required deadlines each month.
5. Such qualifications as the administration may find appropriate.
