Painter, Interior/Exterior Residential and some commercial Western Suburbs

Come join an established(42 years) and growing interior and exterior full service painting company working mostly in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. We are a family owned company looking for quality painters with a preferred minimum of 2 years consecutive experience. We will train a motivated applicant with less experience. 80 percent of our work is prep, cut, and roll in high end residential and commercial settings. 40 hours per week Monday through Friday all year long! We pay every two weeks and overtime after 40 hours a week. PAPER HANGERS also needed. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided and common surfaces sanitized daily as needed. Responsibilities

• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
• Apply varnish and other finishes
• Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
• Gain excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
• Gain solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
• Conscientious with great attention to detail

You must meet the following requirements:

-Basic Painting tools.

-Drivers License and vehicle insurance/vehicle.

-Background check.

-Speak English
