Job Position – Caring for the safety and welfare of up to 8 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on a daily basis in a group home family type environment.
Includes the following:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
Administer medications according to prescribed instructions.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
Respect and uphold the rights of individuals in your care.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for residents.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Responsible for cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.
Case Notes, Medication Administration and charting.
Required Certification:
**Class E Driver's License
**DMH Medication Administration Certification
**First Aide / CPR Administration Certification
DMH Trainings
Corporate In-House Trainings
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a plus.
