POSITION SUMMARY

As an integral element of Fuller’s commitment to whole-life formation, Community Coordinators (CCs) actively nurture Christ-centered communities for Fuller’s student-residents and their families. While living alongside other residents who are a part of their community, CCs create opportunities for residents to share their unique life experiences in an intercultural, intergenerational community environment. While maintaining a commitment to Fuller’s Community Standards, CCs also serve as critical liaisons to the Housing and Residential Services department in the areas of community news and care, building maintenance, neighbor or roommate conflict resolution, building/unit status reporting, and emergency preparedness and response.
Community Coordinators are responsible for delivering the highest level of service and creating the strongest sense of belonging for every student-resident who joins Fuller’s rigorous and formative learning community and is assigned to their care.
Service Period
Community coordinators will be assigned to manage one building and will be responsible for all residents and floors (this position no longer has two CCs per building). Positions are from July 1, 2024- June 30, 2025. Continued service throughout the year depends upon successfully completing job requirements. Due to the nature of the position and the need for continuity, Residential Community staff needs to be available with minimal breaks during crucial periods, especially during the summer and winter breaks. The academic calendar is not a "time off" calendar. You are eligible for "time off" throughout the year (July 1, 2024- June 30, 2025), no more than two weeks at once. Average hours are 10-12, depending on the size of the complex.
