Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and presenting data to support the business team's decision-making processes. You will produce detailed reports, visualizations, and actionable insights to drive our company forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract and compile data from our database to generate comprehensive reports.
- Create and maintain dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to present data insights.
- Develop and automate regular and ad-hoc reports in various formats, including CSV files.
- Collaborate with the business team to understand reporting needs and requirements.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in reports.
- Assist in the development of data models and predictive analytics to forecast future trends.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in the legal or medical industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data manipulation tools.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Postgres and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
