Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Full Time Long Term Substitute/Middle School Science Teacher to begin immediately. The school is committed to partnering with parents and providing a traditional education in a faith filled environment. The school is centrally located in Richmond’s Museum District.

Long Term Substitute/ Middle School Science Teacher

The Long Term Substitute/Middle School Science Teacher will partner with parents and teachers to foster and promote student learning and moral development through a classical Catholic curriculum. The Middle School Science Teacher will teach all Middle School Science classes and provide support, as needed, to the Elementary Teachers. This position is Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-3:30 pm.

Applicant Requirements

Applicant must

· hold a bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university, in science, engineering, or related area

· have a passion and commitment to classical education

· be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing

· upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks

· hold a Virginia Teacher Certification with an endorsement for Middle School and Secondary Science or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
