Divine Lab and Fingerprint is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a local contract job in Hollywood, Broward.

Primary Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Divine Lab and Fingerprint provider network. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting blood work testing, lab work and adjustment assessments for Medicaid and other populations. Your primary objective will be to assess the overall health and well-being of member beneficiaries to ensure accurate and comprehensive risk adjustment coding, leading to greater value-based care.

NP Responsibilities:

Deliver patient health education opportunities

Assist in closing quality care gaps (i.e. screenings and labs)

An enthusiastic collaborator contributing to the enhancement of care delivery
Evaluate and manage patients presenting in all levels of acuity

Performs all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations

Perform independently/as part of a treatment tea

Interpret medical tests results (incl. EKG’s, x-rays, & lab tests)

Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs.

· Active and unrestricted license in the state which you reside, or ability to obtain by start date

· NP: Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program

· 1 year minimum experience working as an NP

· Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following:

o Family Nurse Practitioner

• Knowledge of information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities to include symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
• Knowledge of practices, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
• Skill in the use of computers and related software applications
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans
• Ability to counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification
• Ability to interpret and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests
• Florida RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege from a state that is party to the Nurse Licensure Compact for RNs and LVNs & Florida APRN
• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $70.00 per hour
