D-A Lubricant Company, Inc. is Hiring a Territory Business Manager Near Colorado, CO

Founded in 1919 and headquartered in central Indiana, D-A Lubricant manufactures commercial and consumer products ranging from engine oils and transmission fluids to extreme-pressure gear lubricants, greases and hydraulic fluids. We are currently seeking a lubricant sales specialist, known internally as a Territory Business Manager, for our lubricant sales team. This position is responsible for the territory of Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Central and Western Nebraska and Kansas. Candidates for the position should currently reside in the state of Colorado!

The successful candidate is a high-achieving, results orientated business-to-business sales professional with experience selling high-quality lubricant products. They must excel in identifying and closing new opportunities, growing existing accounts and creating loyal customers through outstanding service. They understand the power of customer retention and growing revenue and profitability by offering new solutions and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Building sales by acquiring new customers, managing existing sales and growing/developing the distributor network.
  • Proactively sell finished product lubricants through cold calling, networking, internal leads, existing customers and other traditional methods.
  • Prepare sales plans and forecasts; monitor and track plans to ensure sales quota is met or exceeded.
  • Develop and propose customer solutions utilizing D-A Lubricant’s vast product and service offerings.
  • Keep abreast of products, market conditions and competitive activities, as well as maintaining up to date understanding of industry trends that affect target markets.
  • Share strong business intelligence with appropriate D-A Lubricant professionals to further support our market growth in years to come.
  • Ensure all sales actions comply with all regulations, policies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Aggressive self-starter with 5 years of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in the lubricant or related industry.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory extensively.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business or a technical discipline.
  • Must be able to gain penetration in assigned markets through the development and implementation of proactive sales strategies.
  • Ability to develop rapport with clients, maintain strong working relationships and successfully manage customer expectations.
  • Clearly communicate goals, interests and positions during discussions.
  • Strong customer-orientation; prompt issue resolution/follow-through.
  • Capable negotiator and exceptional closing skills a must.
  • Ability to explain product features and benefits and familiarity with competitors' products.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong computer skills.
