The Project Manager optimizes flow through the company's portfolio of projects, integrating with client teams and company teams to maximize throughput.
RoleSolid Light operates through a company specific Project Management method of planning and managing projects across the company portfolio, and the ideal candidate for this role will have the following related key attributes:
  • Openness to learn a non-traditional approach to project and portfolio management that elevates the importance of flow across a multi-disciplined team Solid Light and client team.
  • Experience in managing highly conceptual ideas, involving the collaboration of many stakeholders, and creating a finished product by a required deadline.
  • Ability to convert vague ideas into requirements, scope and deliverables.
  • Ability to become, and interest in, quickly becoming a subject matter expert in new topics.
  • Excellent schedule development skills. Ability to create a robust plan that guides the rest of the project team and stakeholders
Requirements For This Position
  • Bachelor's degree in related subject or equivalent work experience and training.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project leadership.
  • Proficient understanding of computer applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to include training, and internal and external client deliverables.
  • Ability to professionally and efficiently correspond with external and internal clients and vendors via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Excellent attention to detail in an environment with rapidly changing data.
  • Interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor and trust, both internally and outside of the Company.
  • Maintenance of Company information in a confidential manner.
  • Ability to travel domestically via automobile or airplane.
