Visiting Angels in Morgantown is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team.
As an In-Home Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to our clients in accordance with their individualized care plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors, while being a part of a growing and supportive team.
Additional locations can include: Bruceton Mills, Cheat Lake, Star City, Westover, Granville, etc.
No experience? No problem! We provide in the field training, along with a 6 week mentor program to ensure caregivers are confident in their skills set.
Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive care to clients in their homes based on their individualized care plans.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to, grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Administer medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up.
• Engage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to provide companionship and support.
• Document daily care activities and any changes in clients' conditions.
• Communicate effectively with office staff to ensure clients' needs are being met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for clients.

Requirements:

• Must be compassionate, patient, and have a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Experience is preferred, but not necessary.
