Concrete Plant Foreman Overview

• Direct and assist the production of concrete and volumetric concrete trucks in
• Manage production , scheduling, truck dispatch, and inventory ordering
• Work will be actively out-of-doors in inclement conditions
• 45 to 55 hours per week with 70 hours per week expected during major pours

Concrete Plant Foreman Tasks & Responsibilities

• Dispatch concrete truck drivers and coordinate logistics clearly and concisely
• Plan personnel and equipment to meet production goals
• Document daily maintenance of volumetric concrete truck fleet
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in machinery
• Ensure personnel compliance to safety standards and system protocol
• Maintain adequate inventories to support operations
• Prepare daily reports on production and inventory activities

Concrete Plant Foreman Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (REQUIRED) (NO Identification Card!)
• Knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems for concrete equipment
• Experience in mechanical problems and repairs
• Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work activities
• Knowledge of computerized manufacturing systems and database programs
• Communicate clearly and concisely with coworkers, truck drivers, and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
