The Receiver/Checker unloads trailers or containers by hand or with equipment and verifies the items received match the packing list and bill of lading. The receiver processes the products to be put away in the warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Physically unload containers by hand and stack products on pallets
• Receive product utilizing scanning equipment. Separate each item number onto pallets, wrap pallets, and stage for putaway
• Perform quality checks on products
• Ability to match received product with inbound paperwork, note all overages, damages, or shortages properly
• Communicate all discrepancies with lead person or supervisor
• Meet all established company key performance metrics
• Adhere to all company and customer requirements, and CTPAT specifications

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems and WMS equipment
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Must be detail oriented and possess exceptional organization skills
• Ability to use power lift equipment
• Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills

• Math functions, read, write, and speak clearly and effectively
• Pass equipment certification test

• Basic visual acuity, hearing, speaking skills
• Normal warehouse working conditions
