We are seeking a skilled Receiving Department Manager to join the Operations team in our Northeast Philadelphia distribution center. The Receiving Department Manager is a leader who provides employees with hands on guidance and direction with all receiving functions. This person will direct the operation of the receiving department, effectively utilizing both personnel and processes.

Key contributions in this role:

• Must direct resources to meet department objectives, deadlines and initiatives
• Delegate and assign tasks to associates
• Train new department personnel or temporary workers
• Ensure departmental productivity standards are met
• Troubleshoot issues and potential problems and make improvements
• Conduct employee reviews as scheduled and disciplinary procedures when needed
• Ensure equipment maintenance and checklists are current
• Must be willing and able to assist other managers and help in other departments as needed
• Promote collaboration and teamwork
• Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Strong management abilities, communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and WMS equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot problems
• Organizational skills & math functions
• Read, write, and speak clearly and effectively
• High school education required, college classes a plus
• Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs under normal warehouse working conditions
• Ability to use power lift equipment
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
