Job Title: Branch Manger (Safety Sensitive Position)
Department: Sales
Reports to: Regional Manager
General Purpose: The branch manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing the business operation that increases sales, profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating and monitoring all sales, branch operations and personnel development activities.
Report Structure:
The branch manager is responsible to the regional manager. Individuals reporting to the branch manager are counter sales, warehouse, and other branch personnel within the branch as assigned.
Job Duties:
1. Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
2. Maintains branch staff results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, training, and appraising job performance, responsible for staffing levels at the branch.
3. Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
4. Gathers and organizes information through system reports, peer, and other staff communication; monitors results of financial performance and implements corrective actions where necessary.
5. Supports corporate goals and initiatives; implements strategies and processes to achieve goals; ensures goals are clearly communicated to branch staff.
6. Responsible for maintaining a professional, clean, organized, and safe work environment; maintains building/grounds appearance.
7. Responsible for accurately maintaining daily cash deposits, petty cash, and credit card reports.
8. Controls inventory, stock levels, and movement of obsolete material.
9. Ensures all branch staff maintains a high level of customer service and professionalism.
10. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements: Skills/Qualifications
§ Education: High school diploma/GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
§ Experience: Minimum 1 year in similar position (3 years preferred)
Minimum 3 years in progressive position (5 years preferred)
Product/applications experience required
Wholesale distribution and supervisory experience required
Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs, pass a physical and drug screen
This is a Safety Sensitive Position due to the nature of work happening in the branch. The Branch Manager at any time may need to use, maintain or monitor heavy equipment and/or a company vehicle. The Branch Manager may at any time need to drive to and from work sites, drop off bank deposits, or any errands needed for the branch.
