URGENTLY NEEDED: Electronics Communications Technician on W-2 Basis, Lancaster, CA 93536. All Corp-to-Corp Candidates will be REJECTED.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

• ECT’s will frequently lift tools, supplies, and equipment weighing 10 - 25 pounds, and occasionally over 25 pounds.
• Equipment installation, repair and replacement duties require ECT’s to regularly use 6-foot and taller ladders, and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching. Physical dexterity, color perception, and visual acuity are required for working with color-coded wires and cables.

YOUR RESUME MUST SHOW THESE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Four (4) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of FM radio communications transmitting and receiving equipment. At least one (1) year of that experience must have been at the journey level.

EDUCATION: Associate degree in electronics or military training in electronics, a General Radiotelephone Operator License issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and a California Class C Driver’s License.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Mobile radio equipment repair, such as Motorola or Harris.

Shift is a 5/40 Monday to Friday, 8-hour day. Overtime will be part of this assignment.
