Automotive Client is Hiring an EHS training specialist Near Cartersville, GA

Position Summary

As the EHS Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles and do so in a safe manner. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting, implementing, and managing training programs tailored to various departments within the facility. You will collaborate closely with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop content, and facilitate training sessions. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjusting as needed to ensure maximum impact.

Primary Duties:

  • Training Program Development:
  • Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs across the facility.
  • Design comprehensive training programs focused on safety protocols, quality standards, engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
  • Training Delivery:
  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for employees at all levels, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Coordinate training schedules and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of training programs.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Training Program Evaluation:
  • Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs, such as quizzes, surveys, and skills assessments.
  • Track and report on key training metrics, such as completion rates, competency levels, and training impact.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure that training programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly in relation to safety and quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee training activities, including attendance, completion status, and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Training & Development, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a focus on safety, quality, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to workplace safety and quality management.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology platforms is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
